Motorcycle "Dnepr" MT-10

This heavy-duty road car manufactured Kyiv Motorcycle Plant. Motorcycle MT-10 is a modern powerful overhead valve engine, upgraded powertrain and comfortable bogie. It is available in place of the motorcycle "Dnepr" MT-9.
The previous model, the MT-10 features the 12-volt electrical equipment. This allowed the motorcycle to equip more sophisticated lighting devices that meet the requirements of international standards. New alternator output of 150 watts with a built-in rectifier unit has a flange, which with the help of two pins attached to the motor housing. Thus eliminated earlier meeting defects - oil leak at the connection.

Motorcycle frame has changed slightly. The changes are caused by the installation of new components and assemblies, primarily saddle-pad. It provides a more comfortable fit driver and passenger.

Some motolyubiteli prefer triangular saddles, so part of the plant produces motorcycles with two triangular seats.
Changed the look of the fuel tank. Along with the seat-cushion it gives the bike a modern look.
Greatly facilitates the operation of a motorcycle transmission with reverse, which was used even on a motorcycle MT-9.
In this model, unlike the previously released (M-72, K-750 and K-650), there are new units: gearbox with reverse gear mechanism and automatic clutch engagement when shifting gears, direction indicators, lamps with high luminous efficiency.
The engine of the design features and technical performance belongs to the category of forced dirt road type.
The horizontal arrangement of the cylinders provides good cooling and balancing the crank mechanism. Each cylinder has a separate carburetor, thereby improving the starting and increased engine power.

Crankshaft double-seat, made of spheroidal cast iron, with two tribes, located in the same plane at an angle of 180 °. It consists of front and rear trunnion, cheeks and two crank pins. Crankshaft mounted on the crankcase in two bearings.
Steel connecting rods, forged, I-section. The upper end of connecting rod has a bronze bushing, lower (detachable) - thin interchangeable inserts.

Engine lubrication combined: pressure and spray.
Two-plate dry clutch consists of a master and slave units and the mechanism of the clutch engagement.
Transmission-shaft, four-, has a reverse gear, the automatic mechanism clutch when shifting gears.
Cardan transmission consists of the following elements: a flexible coupling, drive shaft and universal joint assembly.
Main channel formed by a pair of bevel gears with toothed circular. The gears are located in the crankcase, which also serves as a drive for the rear brake and the oil reservoir, as well as a support for the right end of the rear wheel.
